Grow Your Career in Capital Markets

ATB Capital Markets Inc., the capital markets arm of ATB Financial, announces the launch of their Women’s Rotation Program in Calgary, Alberta. Now accepting applications for a September start date, this two-year program is designed for recent graduates or those interested in changing careers to capital markets.

The customized program will provide hands-on, practical experience within ATB Capital Markets, providing a strong foundation of knowledge for long term career development in a dynamic, challenging environment. Four successful candidates will be invited to participate in the program which features 6-month roles in four unique areas of the Capital Markets group:

1. Corporate Banking: Learn how corporate bankers support clients with credit-based solutions through building relationships, understanding unique needs, and fostering long term relationships. 
2. Investment Banking: Discover how investment bankers advise corporate clients’ on financing activities, including: underwriting, the issuance of equities or debt instruments, as well as advice pertaining to mergers and acquisitions.
3. Financial Markets Group: Learn how clients can manage risk with access to comprehensive risk management solutions across asset classes, including: foreign exchange, energy commodities, interest rates.
4. Optional: A rotation in our Corporate Development Office, Debt Capital Markets group, or Equity Research (or a fourth option tailored to the candidate's interest).

In addition to the rotation programming, each successful candidate will have access to a supportive mentoring community, as well as opportunities to build a strong professional network and further educational growth.
