Notable leader in the global foreign exchange market to extend capabilities

Calgary - ATB Capital Markets is pleased to announce that William (“Bill”) Kellett has been appointed Managing Director and Head of Currencies. Based in Calgary, he will be responsible for leading and growing all aspects of our firm’s Foreign Exchange (FX) strategy and advisory expertise.

Bill brings over 20 years of experience in capital markets leading large and complex global sales and trading operations. He has led global foreign exchange businesses at two Canadian banks, in addition to advocating for positive change in the FX market in Canada.

Bill is a graduate and active alumni of the Haskayne Business School at the University of Calgary. He is an active participant in the FX community, previously serving as a representative on the Canadian Foreign Exchange Committee (CFEC), and has been actively involved in several regulatory initiatives, including the FX Global Code and the Global Foreign Exchange Committee.
